Mac Pro Review

Mac Pro Review

The radical, completely redesigned 2013 Mac Pro is a well-built high performance workstation. As always Apple does a superior job with there hassle free packaging. In the box, we will be greeted with our literature, warranty information, and limited black apple stickers. The Mac Pro, is definitely heavier then it looks and it feels very solid. The Mac Pro is fairly glossy which gives it the futuristic look. As for I/O we have analog audio, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 6 thunderbolt 2 ports, 2 gigabit Ethernet ports, and a power input. The dual AMD FirePro’s graphic cards provides excellent performance.  The big advantage of this line however is expansion. Unlike the MacBook Pro and iMac, you can upgrade components inside and outside with ease. You can add up to 64 GB of RAM, twice the maximum of the iMac, and 4 times more than the MacBook. And you can upgrade the solid state drive inside. In fact, OWC recently upgraded the CPU of the Mac Pro. Overall, the Mac Pro is an excellent workstation for pro-users.
