We made a demo of AirPlay using a 17″ 2.4 Quad Core i7 MacBook Pro and the Apple TV 3. Overall AirPlay from the Mac is smooth and it doesn’t lag. It also carries audio over. It is great for sharing movies, pictures and documents in a meeting. AirPlay for Mac will be released this summer on apples new operating system Mountain Lion.
